We
care about the shape, aesthetic and appearance of our nays as much
as we care for the tune.
Baspare:
Baspare can be cut from two different
materials; these are horn of water buffalo and delrin. Our baspare
types have the best form to create right tune.
Parazvane:
parazvanes are metal rings that are at the top and the bottom of
your nay. We choose Alpaka as our parazvanes’ main material because
of alpaka’ s long lasting brightness and nice appearance which is
very similar to silver. These artificial silver parazvanes have a
great contribution of our nays’ elegance.
Pitches:
seven holes on nay are called as
pitches. Leveling of pitches is very important to get a perfect
output from nay. Because of that we make pitches as completely
circles. Also
We try
to remove all burrs around them. In addition, we sandpaper inside of
pitches in a special angle to prevent dirtiness which can occur by
time. Moreover, we especially care pitches to be ordered in a linear
position.
Nodes:
We care not to cut or stretch the reed while cutting the leaves on
nodes.
Knots:
We are careful about not to cut or harm the nay while removing knots
from the reed. Also we use natural beeswax to fill knot holes (when
filling is necessary) instead of using artificial adhesive or glue. |
